![]() Also, I don't get alerted when I reach 65%, 90% and 100% of my cap and I'm almost certain I've hit my 65% and probably 90% mark already with all the streaming we do. I haven't had a call from them yet, but others have been getting threatened with overages without a freakin meter. Thanks everyone! I forgot to mention that I'm on AT&T Uverse and they don't have their meters up. I have accidentally left torrents running, hit over 300GB and never heard from them, however I obviously don't recommend pushing your luck. ![]() 2) If you're using Comcast and you go over the limit a little they won't care in most cases. Me and Comcast are usually off by about 5GB in some cases - it also resets the day before the end of the month. Two things to keep in mind: 1) Don't assume that the bandwidth usage your router shows is the same as the ISPs numbers. However, it does not support the feature to warn or shut off your connection but you can monitor it. Your best bet with your router would probably be to flash it with DD-WRT, I already checked for you and the e900 is supported. Pretty handy but I don't usually have to worry about it. ![]() I also have a Netgear WNDR3700 that has a built-in traffic meter that I can set to monitor bandwidth, alert me when I'm close to the limit (router LED also changes color), and I can set it to shut off the connection when I reach a certain point. I have Comcast and use their online traffic meter.
